How to properly grow

Growing pink radish microgreens doesn't require any special skills or conditions. It requires:

  • seeds are free of mold and damage, with good sprouting;
  • a container for germination - a plastic container, a set for microgreens, etc;
  • substrate - should retain moisture and provide air access (ready-made mats of flax, jute, coconut, or other fibers, soil, perlite, vermiculite, peat, hydroponics);
  • temperature - optimal within 18-25 °C, without sudden changes;
  • light - natural bright diffused light, which contributes to the formation of good color and taste of the leaves (or phytolamps for at least 12 hours a day);
  • watering - if necessary, to keep the substrate moist.

Cut microgreens at the stage of 2-4 true leaves, 10-12 days after sowing.

Using microgreens

Young sprouts of Chinese radish are widely used in Asian cuisine, where they are added to salads, soups, kimchi, and other dishes. Microgreens have a pungent spicy flavor, rich aroma, and bright appearance. The sprouts can also be:

- mix with cheese, oil, sour cream, yogurt, mayonnaise, and other sauces and dressings;
- to garnish sandwiches, burgers, pizza, fish, vegetable, and meat dishes;
- add to smoothies, cocktails, lemonades, and other drinks.

Microgreens of China Rose Radish will add originality to dishes, enrich them with nutrients, and improve their aesthetic appearance.
