How to properly grow
How to properly grow
One of the easiest and fastest types of microgreens to grow, which doesn't require any special conditions or knowledge. The basic rules:
- Substrate - soil, coconut fiber, vermiculite, perlite, hydroponics, and even paper or cotton wool are suitable.
- The optimum temperature is between 18 and 25°C.
- It needs a sufficient amount of light - at least 12-14 hours a day; in cold weather, it's better to supplement the light so that photosynthesis takes place and the sprouts generate chlorophyll.
- Watering is regular and moderate, and it's important to keep the substrate and sprouts at an optimal moisture level. Use clean water and a spray bottle.
Microgreens of green radish are ready for consumption when the sprouts reach a height of 15-20 cm and have a characteristic green color with red veins.
