Beneficial substances in the composition

Beets are known for their iron content — but in microgreen form, the concentration is even higher. Add to that a rich mix of natural vitamins and antioxidants, and you’ve got a true supergreen:

  • Iron — supports energy and healthy blood.
  • Vitamins A and C — boost immunity and promote glowing skin.
  • Potassium and magnesium — great for heart and nervous system support.
  • Folic acid — essential for cell growth and especially helpful during pregnancy.
  • Anthocyanins — natural pigments with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

And the best part? It’s all gluten-free, chemical-free, and grown by you — naturally.

How to properly grow

Red Leaf Beet can be a little more finicky than other microgreens — but the results are well worth it. Just follow the basics and you’ll enjoy bold, colorful greens in no time.

  • Growing medium: coconut coir, jute, cloth, or cotton-based mats.
  • Pre-soaking: not required, but optional soaking for 4–6 hours may accelerate germination.
  • Optimal temperature: 20–22 °C (68–72 °F).
  • Time to germination: 3–4 days.
  • Growth time after sprouting: 5–8 days.
  • Sowing density: 5 g per 11×18 cm tray.
  • Weight pressure: Recommended — apply 0.5–1 kg on trays until sprouts emerge.
  • Height at harvest: 8–10 cm.
  • Yield: up to 1:5 — 5 g of seeds can yield up to 25 g of fresh greens.

Harvest once the color is rich and the stems are tender. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days in a sealed container.

Using microgreens

Red Leaf Beet isn’t just a green — it’s a statement. A pop of color. A layer of flavor. A visual upgrade. Add it to salads, poke bowls, sandwiches, bruschetta, or cheese boards. It instantly transforms a simple dish into something special — like you’d see at a high-end restaurant.

And kids love it too — because it’s sweet, crunchy, and, let’s be honest, pretty! Grow it together and turn healthy eating into a fun routine.

Bring a splash of vibrant color and gentle sweetness to your windowsill garden — Red Leaf Beet microgreens are easy to grow and a joy to eat.
